To Seduce A Scoundrel (Secrets & Scandals #3) - Darcy Burke
The redeemable scoundrel is not uncommon in historical romances. If you read this particular sub genre, then you have probably read it half a dozen ways. It works, so we read it. This book has the same formula. Phillipa has an iron will. She feels that Sevrin is hers. He would rather she gave up on him. The back story on Sevrin's scandal was sad to read. No one wants to hear about the tragedy someone suffered. I felt like Some of Sevrin's guilt was misplaced but it made 100% sense. In his situation, I would have reacted the same way.

Sevrin wins points for how hard he fights to keep Phillipa from making a mistake in picking him. Like I said, least scoundrel like scoundrel ever.
