Kitty was a bad girl. She has gotten her karmic comeuppance. Kitty says she deserved what she got, and maybe she did, but I still felt bad for her. She does grow as a person, which is always fun to read. Our dashing hero plays the part of knight in shining armor to perfection. This book has the destined mate theme. I know some people don't like that, but I think it springs from what romance novels are all about, finding the one.
